FAQ: S. H. Archer High c/o ’82 Class Reunion 30-Year Planning Strategies
1. Why is there a price for class of 1982 and another for the general public?
Because, class of 1982 is the host for the event and the $137.00 price includes two
tickets (see #2 below). For the general public (non-class members), the fee is $45.00
per person.
2. Why can’t class of 1982 class members purchase only one ticket at half the
cost?
The price is based on the hosting class paying for the venue, the food, the
entertainment and any other incidentals. This fee also includes a guest to attend with
the classmate, i.e. two tickets.
3. What is the attire?
The attire for the event is semi-formal or cosmopolitan. Absolutely no jeans, shorts,
athletic wear, t-shirts or sneakers
4. Is there a minimum age for guests?
The minimum age is 21 years of age because alcohol will be served.
5. I have an idea for a fundraiser? How should I implement it?
If you have an idea for a fundraiser, you can implement it on your own. However, it
would be best if you came to a meeting and presented your idea to the meeting
attendees. This way, if you need additional help, you can possibly recruit volunteers.
You can also email your idea to the email address if you are unable to attend the
meeting.
6. How was this particular venue chosen and why?
The venue was chosen based on cost and location from the recommendations that
were received from the reunion meeting participants.
7. What happens if we have more people than 125 who want to attend?
Unfortunately, the venue will not accommodate more than 130 people.

There may be a service fee for using credit cards.
12. What is the deadline to get my money paid?
The deadline for classmates to pay their full balance is June 16th. The deadline for all
money to be paid from guests is July 16th.
13. What happens if all tickets are sold and I am too late to purchase one?
Unfortunately, there will not be any tickets purchased at the door. Ticket sale cut off
date is August 15th..
14. What other events are planned for the weekend of the August 25, 2012?
Currently, none. If you would like to host or coordinate a picnic, brunch, meet and
greet, or happy hour by all means – let us know! We welcome all ideas and would
sincerely appreciate your input.

16. I ran into a class mate recently. They knew nothing about the class reunion.
Should I give them information about it?
It is recommended that you refer them to the web site or ask them to attend a meeting
to get more information. They can also provide you with a personal email address so
that they can receive the minutes from the meetings.

Crunch Time: Twice A Month Meetings
Beginning in June, anyone who wishes to help with the planning of the reunion will have two opportunities to meet. The dates for the June meetings are June 2 and June 16, Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church , 3pm. July dates July 7th and 21st. August dates are August 4 and August 18, Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church , 3pm.
