Bootleg Slim: Honey of a Bus Trip
The summer of 2003 was a hot one in the Deep South . But, when a young Atlanta-based street vending entrepreneur known as “Bootleg Slim”, gets the opportunity to accompany a group of senior citizens on a gambling trip to Mississippi , the MARTA Five Points selling machine closes shop and boards an old, hot bus bound for the Redneck Riviera . His humorous foibles include teenage wanna-be gangsters, a band of mischievous senior ladies (the O.G.’s – old girls), and good-old boy hotel security. Oh, let’s not forget “Honey” – the prep school-bred daughter of one of the most respected civil rights families in the country.
How many times have you heard someone say, “I saw Vernon Fambro!” but they get his phone number or e-mail address? While many class members have been sighted, many remain just beyond our grasp for personal contact. If you have any contact information for class mates, please contact Janice Robertson Franklin at franklin@feelingprettylingerie.com . Janice and members of the contact committee appreciates any contact information you can provide on class members. “We really want to make sure that everyone in the class knows about the reunion, so no one will feel excluded. That is very important to us. Plus, with limited seating, timing is paramount in securing a ticket,” Janice recently stated.

FAQ: S. H. Archer High c/o ’82 Class Reunion 30-Year Planning Strategies
1. Why is there a price for class of 1982 and another for the general public?
Because, class of 1982 is the host for the event and the $137.00 price includes two
tickets (see #2 below). For the general public (non-class members), the fee is $45.00
per person.
2. Why can’t class of 1982 class members purchase only one ticket at half the
cost?
The price is based on the hosting class paying for the venue, the food, the
entertainment and any other incidentals. This fee also includes a guest to attend with
the classmate, i.e. two tickets.
3. What is the attire?
The attire for the event is semi-formal or cosmopolitan. Absolutely no jeans, shorts,
athletic wear, t-shirts or sneakers
Nothing Comes to Sleepers but a Dream
With the sunshine comes the dawning of a day
Still another dream has come and slipped away
Scattered visions of the things you want to be
Make you open up your mind and try to see
How to make dreams come true
Ohh life is but a dream...nothing comes to sleepers but a dream
Ohh life is but a dream...nothing comes to sleepers but a dream
Standing all alone you wonder what is real
Is it what you see or is it what you feel (is it what you feel)
While your wondering the day has passed away
No more time for wondering it is time to pray
God make our dreams come true
